§ 01

Everything you need.
Nothing you don't.

Tally does the small handful of things a personal expense tracker should do — and does them quickly.

One-tap entry

Amount, category, done. A keypad built for speed — log a coffee before it gets cold.

Your categories

A clean set out of the box, fully editable. Earthen colours, legible icons, no rainbow clutter.

Monthly overview

Spent, earned, and balance at a glance — with a trend line and a ranked breakdown by category.

Full history

Every transaction, grouped by day, searchable, and editable. Scroll back as far as you like.

Recurring bills

Rent, subscriptions, salary — set them once and Tally posts them on schedule, automatically.

Home-screen widgets

This month's total and a quick-add button, right on your Home Screen. Tap, log, back to life.

Import & export

Bring data in or take it out as a standard file, on your terms. Your numbers are never locked in.

¥ or $ display

Keep accounts in CNY while showing the symbol you prefer. A visual choice, not a conversion.

Local reminders

Gentle nudges to log the day's spending — scheduled on-device, never through a server.

§ 02

A look inside.

Quiet, typographic, numbers-first. The same screens you'll use every day.

§ 03 · Privacy
What leaves your
device? Nothing. Tally is local-first by design. There is no Tally account, no server to sync to, and no analytics watching what you do. Your financial records stay in one place — your phone — and you can take them with you whenever you like.

§ 04

Questions, answered.

Do I need to create an account?
No. There's no sign-up, no email, and no password. Open Tally and start logging — your data is tied to your device, not to an account.
Where is my data stored?
Entirely on your device. Tally has no servers and sends nothing to the cloud. Your records are included in your device's own encrypted backups (iCloud Backup or a local computer backup) if you have those enabled.
Is there sync across my iPhone and iPad?
Not at this time. Tally is deliberately local-first, so each device keeps its own records. To move data between devices, use the manual export and import in Settings.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, whenever you want. Export your transactions to a standard file you can open in a spreadsheet or import back into Tally. Your numbers are never locked in.
Which currency does Tally use?
Amounts are kept in CNY. You can choose to display either the ¥ or $ symbol as a visual preference — it changes the symbol shown, not the underlying value, and Tally does no currency conversion.
Are there ads or tracking?
No ads, ever. Tally doesn't show banners, sponsors, or upsells, and it doesn't track you to sell anything. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
What does Tally notify me about?
Only optional, local reminders to log your spending — scheduled on your device and never sent through a server. You can turn them off any time in Settings.

One tap. One entry.
Done.

A calmer way to know where your money goes — and it never leaves your phone.
